Odour Control within the municipal limits and Air Control in industrial sectors is an everyday concern. Odour nuisance or Air Pollution doesn’t stop at the site boundary. It can disturb the relation with neighbours, can cause environmental problems or adds to health and safety risks. The list of volatile compounds seems endless.

In the municipal sector there is a serious concern about the odour aspect. Sulphur based components such as hydrogen sulphide and mercaptans as well as ammonia & amines are the major components to remove.

In Industries, we have acidic fumes like Nitric , sulphuric, HF and other chemical like Chlorine, SO2, amines , silicates, aromatic compounds etc. which are very harmful along with micron and sub micron particulates of dust, ash etc.

A typical configuration of a bio-trickling filter followed by a polishing carbon filter is effective for achieving a stack concentration of 1,000 ouE/m3 or less from:

• Pumping stations
• Inlet works, screens and associated skips
• Primary settlement and associated distribution chambers
• Imported and exported sewage/sludge tanks and tanker loading/discharge
• Primary, RAS, SAS, digested sludge tanks and dewatering equipment
• THP processes
• Cake storage

Applications : ERG’s abatement packages are typically installed as part of the LEV system. In most cases, a skid-mounted gas cleaning package is required. Our systems treat LEV extraction, process and reactor vents, and storage tank vents.
